  • Day 1: Mexico City

Welcome to Mexico City! Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax or explore at your leisure. Later in the afternoon, our guide will get in touch to provide details about the upcoming itinerary.

  • Day 2: Mexico City

Today, we dive into the vibrant culture and history of Mexico City. Our day begins with a sightseeing tour, visiting key landmarks such as the Plaza of Three Cultures, the historic center featuring the Zócalo (main square), the Metropolitan Cathedral, and the main Aztec temple. We also explore Chapultepec Park, the iconic Paseo de la Reforma Avenue, and other notable avenues of this dynamic city.

Following the tour, we head to the Basilica of Guadalupe, the most visited Catholic shrine in the Americas. Here, we explore both the historic 18th-century basilica and the modern temple dedicated to the Virgin of Guadalupe.

In the afternoon, we visit the enchanting neighborhood of Xochimilco, famous for its canals and semi-floating gardens. A ride on a colorful trajinera, a traditional flower-adorned boat, is included, providing a unique experience.

To conclude the day, we enjoy an evening transfer to the lively Plaza de Garibaldi, known for its bustling atmosphere with bars, restaurants, and Mariachi bands performing traditional Mexican music. A delicious dinner at a traditional restaurant is included to cap off the day.

  • Day 3: Mexico City – Morelia – Pátzcuaro

Leaving Mexico City behind, we journey through lush green countryside into the state of Michoacán. Our first stop is Morelia, the stunning capital of Michoacán. Its historic center, featuring a magnificent cathedral, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. We enjoy time for lunch and a leisurely stroll through its charming streets.

Next, we visit Pátzcuaro, a picturesque colonial town celebrated for its rich history and culture. Highlights include the Basilica of Our Lady of Health and the House of the Eleven Courtyards, now a bustling artisan craft center.

We end the day with an overnight stay in this enchanting "Magical Village."

  • Day 4: Pátzcuaro – Tzintzuntzan – Chapala – Tlaquepaque – Guadalajara

Today, we head to the vibrant state of Jalisco. Our first stop is Tzintzuntzan, a historic town by Lake Pátzcuaro that was once the most important city of the Purépecha Empire. Here, we visit the Franciscan Convent of Santa Ana, surrounded by nearly 500-year-old olive trees, and admire the Yácatas, ancient Purépecha pyramids.

Next, we journey to Lake Chapala, the largest natural lake in Mexico, nestled amid scenic mountains. In the lakeside town of Chapala, we enjoy a leisurely stroll and time for lunch in this charming tourist destination.

We then visit the Tlaquepaque district, known for its picturesque streets, artisan shops, and local crafts.

Finally, we arrive in Guadalajara, the lively capital of Jalisco and the birthplace of mariachi music and tequila, where we settle in for the night.

  • Day 5: Guadalajara

In the morning, we began our exploration of Guadalajara, a vibrant modern metropolis with a rich colonial heritage. Highlights included its historic center, the beautiful Cathedral, the bustling market, and the expansive Plaza Tapatía. We also visited the Cabañas Hospice, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its remarkable architecture and murals.

Afterward, we traveled to the nearby town of Tequila, the birthplace of Mexico’s iconic drink. Here, we toured the Mundo Cuervo Distillery, where we learned about the tequila-making process and enjoyed a tasting.

Following the distillery visit, we had time to stroll through the charming streets of Tequila and enjoy lunch at a local spot. In the afternoon, we returned to Guadalajara for the evening.

  • Day 6: Guadalajara – Mexico City

After breakfast, we transferred to the bus station for our journey back to Mexico City. Traveling on a regular luxury coach, the trip took just over six and a half hours.

We arrived in Mexico City around 4:00 PM, where we were transferred from the station to our hotel for check-in and accommodation.

  • Day 7: Mexico City
